Address: Le Faux, Mantilly, 61350, France

We understand you are unlikely to be familiar with the area so this page will contain information on ferries, flights and different options for accommodation to try and make it easier to get you all over to celebrate with us.

Keep checking back as we will update with travel and accommodation options as we discover them.

Where to stay?

Option 1 – Camping

When you come over you will need somewhere to stay for a few days. We are looking for hotels and B&B’s close by and will post some options later however if you fancy a cheap option then why not bring a tent? There is plenty of space at the farm to pitch a tent and we are looking at hiring some extra loos and sorting out showering facilities for anyone who fancies embracing “WED-FEST”. This way you will save some money on hotels and taxis and you will be able to party late into the night.

Obviously this option means you will have a bit too much luggage to fly so driving over will be your best option. Brittany Ferries are who we usually travel across with (see below for more travel info), the Channel Tunnel is also available however it brings you out in Calais which is about 5 hours from the farm.

Don’t worry if camping isn’t for you. Check back at a later date and we will have links to some hotels and B&B’s in the area.

Getting to the farm

Option 1 – Car & Ferry

As mentioned above the way we usually travel to France is by car. If like us you are starting up North it’ll take 3-4 hours to get down south to hop on a ferry and depending on the ferry crossing you choose the timings can vary from 3 hours on the fast-cat (Portsmouth to Cherbourg only) to a leisurely overnight crossing.

We recommend using Brittany Ferries – https://www.brittany-ferries.co.uk/ferry-routes/ferries-france

The guide below shows the available crossings and the distance to the farm for each one…

  • Depart: Portsmouth – Arrive: Caen || Time to farm = Approx 1hr 44min ||
  • Depart: Portsmouth or Poole – Arrive: Cherbourg || Time to farm = Approx 2hr 7min ||
  • Depart: Portsmouth – Arrive: Le Harve || Time to farm = Approx 2hr 26min ||
  • Depart: Dover – Arrive: Calais || Time to farm = Approx 4hr 27min ||

Option 2 – Fly
